Our story

At Miao-Yun Future Leader Camp, we inspire young minds to become compassionate leaders, guided by the timeless teachings of Venerable Master Yin Shun.

We developed three essences of Buddhist values into practices:

1. Self-Discipline (戒)

We cultivate integrity and responsibility

2. Meditation (定)

We foster clarity of mind and inner peace throughout teaching

3. Critical Reflection (慧)

We conduct thought-provoking workshops

Our goal is to cultivate future leaders who not only acquire diverse knowledge but also embody the values of wisdom and proactive action. We are dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve personal freedom, pursue their dreams, and live out the best version of their true, authentic selves.

Meet the Programme Coordinator

Hello and welcome!

I’m Manping Yu, the creator of this website, the Founder of the Bilingual Edition and Program Coordinator of Miao-Yun Young Leadership. As a Political Sociology student at University College London (UCL), I have developed strong skills in critical thinking, communication, and cross-cultural understanding.

My journey has taken me across diverse educational and cultural settings, where I witnessed how education can transform lives. This inspired me to create this platform — a place where young leaders can access quality learning, develop essential life skills, and build the confidence to pursue their dreams.

My goal is simple yet powerful: to bridge the educational gap for young talents, providing them with the knowledge, values, and opportunities they need to thrive and lead with purpose.

Q: Why I Created Miao-Yun Young Leadership?

Throughout my journey, I have seen how access to quality education can change lives. However, I’ve also encountered many young talents who lack the resources or opportunities to reach their full potential.

This realisation inspired me to create Miao-Yun Young Leadership — a platform dedicated to bridging the educational gap, providing young leaders with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to thrive.
